Versatile Thermal Curtains for Your Home

We can create thermal curtains up to 280 cm wide. If you need them wider, simply request a velcro attachment. This allows you to easily combine the curtains, making them more convenient to clean. Size: 140 cm is the width of the fabric. For widths greater than 140 cm, we will sew additional pieces to the 140 cm fabric to meet your requirements. PRICES INCLUDE SEWING! These curtains not only provide sound insulation but also excellent thermal insulation. The fabric is designed to maintain a comfortable temperature by keeping heat or cold out. The back of the Forio thermal curtains features a brown felt material. If you choose double thickness, both sides will have the same appearance, ensuring a uniform look from any angle.

Thermal Curtain Parameters

The width of the Forio thermal curtain is 140cm, and the length is tailored to your request! If you need a wider curtain, we combine 140cm pieces, sewn together lengthwise. This seam is barely visible, as it blends into the waves of the curtain. To order custom sizes, please email us! For optimal coverage, the curtain width should be twice the width of your windows. For even better thermal insulation, a width of two and a half times the window size is most effective. This ensures both aesthetic appeal and functionality. Careful planning and accurate measurement are essential. Make sure your thermal curtain fits perfectly to achieve the best results, whether at home or in a studio.

Mounting Options

There are several ways to mount your thermal curtains, including tweezers, cornice hooks, or curtain tapes. Please specify your needs via email. If you prefer a ring solution, it incurs an additional cost.

Tweezers

The traditional clip solution involves wrapping the material, allowing for easy application with tweezers. Note that we do not provide tweezers with our products. Be mindful of the strength of your tweezers, as our curtains are heavy and dense. Also, check the load capacity of your curtain rods to prevent bending under heavy loads.

Through Hole

The through hole at the top of the material allows easy insertion of the cornice. Consider larger and longer fabric sizes, with an additional 10cm fold back usually sufficient.

Ring

A ring is a metal or plastic hoop formed on top of the fabric. We use a strong, aesthetic plastic industrial ring with a 40mm inner diameter. The ring helps to hide the cornice and is used in various applications, including curtains. It consists of two parts, compressed to ensure stability after application. Each hoop can withstand a load capacity of 150Kg.

1. Each curtain is made based on an individual order, therefore each curtain is considered unique, and we cannot buy it back! 2. The weight of the curtains refers to the flow meter of the material: 1 flow meter is 140 cm and weighs 720 grams. (+/- 20-30% weight deviation possible!) 3. Acoustic curtains can only absorb up to 8-15 decibels of sound if they are placed completely without gaps or if the acoustics of the given room is adequate! Due to the resulting problems/complaints, we cannot take back the curtains! In the case of an individual curtain order, it is no longer possible to modify or cancel the order after the order and payment, because we cannot refund the price! There may be minimal colour variation between the curtains and cushion covers ordered. The colour sample ordered may vary slightly from the colour ordered. The colour of a new order may differ from the previous order. Products can be produced with a +-1-2% variation.
