How Do Deep Absorbent Membranes Help?
We primarily work with deep absorbent membranes for the dampening of reverberations. A deep absorbent membrane is an acoustic element that reduces excessive sound waves within a narrower frequency range.
Compared to acoustic membranes – wideband acoustic panels are not able to dampen the sub-bass frequency effectively – within these ranges, the membranes absorb deep sounds with significantly higher efficiency.

The typical foam, which has a density of 20-30kg/m^3, is incapable of absorbing deep sounds. How to Use the Deep Absorbent Membranes?
First, dampen the deep sounds in the corners, then on the side walls – primarily on the front side – and behind the listener’s position.
If possible, do not place the Deep Absorbent Membranes directly against the wall; maintain a distance of at least 10 cm.
Do not forget about one of the most critical parts of the room, the ceiling. Since this area is empty, standing waves can spread without obstruction, thereby causing significant peaks or dips in the deep sound ranges.
