We can make theater curtains up to 280 cm wide. If you need it wider than this, ask for a velcro. This way you can easily put the curtains together. They will also be easier to clean.

Size: 140cm is the width of the fabric, if you order wider than that we will sew it to the 140cm fabric.

Of course, prices include the sewing of the curtains!

The back of the Forio theater curtains is a brown felt material.
If you double thickness both sides will look the same.

The Forio theater curtain comes with a standard width of 140cm. Length is customized according to the client’s specifications! For wider curtains, we seamlessly join 140cm sections lengthwise. This seam is ingeniously designed to blend within the curtain’s folds, making it virtually invisible. For custom sizes and special requests, we encourage direct communication via e-mail!

In theatrical settings, curtains typically need to be at least twice as wide as the stage opening they cover. For a more dramatic and fuller appearance, opting for curtains two and a half times wider than the opening can create an even more luxurious backdrop. Precision in both planning and measurement ensures that your theater curtains will not only look magnificent but will perform flawlessly, setting the scene for any performance or event.

Installation Options:

Numerous hanging solutions are available, from tweezers and cornice hooks to curtain tapes, tailored to meet your specific staging needs. Specify your preferences via e-mail! Choosing a ringed hanging option may incur additional costs.

Tweezers:

For a traditional approach, the curtain fabric can be easily gathered and hung using tweezers. It’s important to select tweezers of adequate strength as theater curtains are typically heavier and denser. Additionally, the load capacity of curtain rods should be verified to avoid any sagging under the weight.

Through-Hole:

A through-hole design allows for easy rod threading, requiring consideration for slightly larger and longer fabric dimensions. Typically, an additional 10cm foldback is sufficient for a clean finish.

Rings:

Our rings, available in metal or durable plastic, are designed for both strength and aesthetics, with an inner diameter of 40mm. They facilitate a sleek presentation by concealing the rod, commonly used across various curtain styles. These rings are securely fastened to ensure stability and can support up to 150Kg per ring, making them a robust choice for hanging your theater curtains.

1. Each curtain is made based on an individual order, therefore each curtain is considered unique, and we cannot buy it back!

2. The weight of the curtains refers to the flow meter of the material: 1 flow meter is 140 cm and weighs 820 grams. (+/- 20-30% weight deviation possible!)

3. Acoustic curtains can only absorb 10-20 decibels of sound if they are placed completely without gaps or if the acoustics of the given room is adequate! Due to the resulting problems/complaints, we cannot take back the curtains!

In the case of an individual curtain order, it is no longer possible to modify or cancel the order after the order and payment, because we cannot refund the price!

There may be minimal colour variation between the curtains and cushion covers ordered.

The colour sample ordered may vary slightly from the colour ordered.
The colour of a new order may differ from the previous order.

Products can be produced with a +-1-2% variation.
