Size: 140cm is the width of the fabric, if you order wider than that we will sew it to the 140cm fabric.

We can make theatres curtains up to 280 cm wide. If you need it wider than this, ask for a velcro. This way you can easily put the curtains together. They will also be easier to clean.

The reverse side of each Ditto theatrical curtain features a medium brown felt fabric, chosen for its versatility and subtle elegance. If you order the curtain in double thickness, both sides of the curtain will be in the colour of your choice.

These curtains are highly patterned, silky, and soft to the touch, ensuring they’re as pleasing to the senses as they are to the eye. Additional insights into the fabric reveal its durability and ease of maintenance, making it an ideal choice for theatrical environments where both look and longevity are key.

For optimal coverage and dramatic effect, theatrical curtains should span a width that’s at least twice or two and a half times the width of the stage or opening they are intended to adorn. Calculating the perfect width is crucial to achieving the desired visual and acoustic ambiance. This guideline holds true whether the curtain is used to frame a window in a performance space or to act as a backdrop or partition within a room.

It’s imperative to deliberate on these details prior to placing your order, as we are unable to accept returns once a theatrical curtain has been customized to your specifications.

We advise you to thoroughly review the guidelines on how much additional length and width to account for when determining the dimensions of your theatrical curtains.

When placing your order, please focus on specifying the dimensions of the theatrical curtain itself, rather than the measurements of the window or space it is intended to enhance. Our interest lies solely in the size of the curtain to ensure it meets your exact needs for your theatre or performance area.

1. Each curtain is made based on an individual order, therefore each curtain is considered unique, and we cannot buy it back!

2. The weight of the curtains refers to the flow meter of the material: 1 flow meter is 140 cm and weighs 820 grams. (+/- 20-30% weight deviation possible!)

3. Acoustic curtains can only absorb 10-20 decibels of sound if they are placed completely without gaps or if the acoustics of the given room is adequate! Due to the resulting problems/complaints, we cannot take back the curtains!

There may be minimal colour variation between the curtains and cushion covers ordered.

In the case of an individual curtain order, it is no longer possible to modify or cancel the order after the order and payment, because we cannot refund the price! SzG
