Why is it important to use acoustic diffuser elements?

There is a direct and diffuse sound field. Together, they form our sense of space direction and distance. The direct sound field is created when the sound source is switched on, the diffuse sound field consists of the reflected sounds. The flat, hard surface of the walls is unable to absorb deep sounds, reflecting them, creating unpleasant echoes that result in a disturbing sound. How Many Diffusion Panels Are Recommended to Be Placed?

The ideal number of acoustic diffusers in a room depends on the size of the diffusers as well as the room’s dimensions. In larger rooms or home studios, several diffusing elements should be installed. However, it’s not necessary to cover every wall with sound scatterers! Reflection points should be precisely defined and only those areas need to be treated with diffusers.

Our diffusers are made from real wood. Due to the natural properties and structure of the wood (such as knots, lumps, and staining from leaking resin), the pickling or painting may not be uniform. The shades may vary across the surface of the diffuser, and as such, we cannot accept complaints regarding these natural variations.

The beauty of natural wood lies in its unique grain and texture, which can create special colors and shades during the pickling or painting process.
