Properties of the Wall Art Panels with Photos:

Our printed panels, available in our shop, contain 90 kg/m³ acoustic wool within a sturdy wood construction. Alternatively, you can order them with extra-dense 80 kg/m³ Elitexa acoustic foam (additional cost).

The panel is also available with the latest Elitexa extra dense 200kg/m³ acoustic foam. In this case, the sound absorption below 400Hz is nearly doubled. As a result, the product’s weight almost doubles! The denser the material, the more low-frequency sound it can absorb.

For ceiling installation, we do not recommend the use of sponge lining (it will not be aesthetically pleasing)
The acoustic wool is developed especially for this purpose thus it is non-toxic.
The surface of the decor panels is covered with acoustic velvet which also protects against dust emission.
Broadband Sound absorbing panels is needed in those places where the reverberation time (echo) is higher than the reference level. You can find these elements in our shop.

The back of our photo panels is pre-drilled, and the enclosed hooks must be screwed to facilitate the mounting.

Stacking the Panels

You can join two or even three panels together to create an acoustic wall. The rail system allows them to be securely joined without falling apart. Simply fit the rails together and slide them into place. The rails are available in several colors.
For added stability, it is advisable to request the bottom panel with feet; in this case, the acoustic wall cannot fall over.
These panels are ideal for areas where drilling into the wall is not possible, such as:

• Sub-let areas: where drilling is not allowed

• Offices: where tables are separated by an acoustic wall

• Studios: behind high speakers or as a movable wall around singers or between musicians

A little more detail:

The internal composition of photo panels is completely the same as that of a broadband absorber.

We use high-density acoustic wool inside a bolted and glued hardwood frame. The acoustic wool is specifically developed for this purpose, ensuring it is non-toxic. Thanks to the cotton content, the décor tiles absorb a large amount of sound.

The acoustic wool is covered with high-density silk to prevent dust emission. We place the printed acoustic material on top, which is made using high-pressure screen printing. The advantage of screen printing is that the coloring matter penetrates only inside the fabric as a result of pressing, allowing the surface to remain breathable.

Why Do We Need a Breathable Surface for Broadband Acoustic Absorbers?

The easier the air passes through the acoustic silk, the more efficient and wider the spectrum of sound frequencies it will absorb. That is why the broadband panels are capable of absorbing sound from 40Hz to 20,000Hz.

Perfect Acoustic adheres to the “principle of absorbing more bass,” but of course, we also address high frequencies.

What can we print on sound-absorbing panels?

You can choose from over 50 high-quality photos for the décor tiles available on the web page of our shop.

We regularly stock six types of these panels in the following sizes:

If these options do not suit your taste, you can choose from tens of thousands of high-quality photos via the link below. You can opt for abstract, gray, or black-and-white sets. It is important to download the best quality image. If you search for photos, it is advisable to look for images with a resolution above 4K.

Many people make the mistake of downloading low-quality photos. While these images may appear fine on a phone or smaller monitor, they will look blurry on an acoustic panel of 130 cm or larger.

It is recommended to open the picture on your monitor, zoom in as much as possible, and only send it if the quality remains high.

Shall we cut the photo?

People often send high-quality photos for acoustic absorbers, but if they want a portrait orientation from a landscape photo, a significant part must be cut off. This will cause the photo to lose resolution, making it blurry and pixelated. Therefore, you should send a portrait photo for portrait orientation and a landscape photo for landscape orientation.

Printing photos on their side:

If there is an important or large theme in the photo, which nearly reaches the edge, it is not advisable to crop parts like a hand, head, or other crucial details when printing.

In this case, we will create a frame with a uniform color in Photoshop, and this section will be placed on the side and back of the sound-absorbing panel. When we make printed acoustic panels, we need to focus not only on the front but also on the sides and back where the photo is fixed to the wooden frame.

Regarding the size:
If you purchase panels of 130x64x11 cm, a photo of 130×64 cm is not large enough. We must print a photo of 156×90 cm.

Mounting of the Acoustic Elements:

We provide each of the broadband absorbers in our shop with pre-drilled holes and include hook bolts that you can easily screw in.
You can hang the tiles with these hooks onto other hooks drilled into the wall, just like you would hang a photo, artwork, or abstract picture.

Where should we place the panels to achieve the best sound?

We choose printed sound absorbers mainly for their design. Therefore, these panels may not always be placed at the main reflection points. Ideally, we should cover the primary reflection points.

Where can we find these?

• Behind the loudspeakers, a little further in.

• On the right and left sides, in front of the loudspeakers.

• On the ceiling: at the midpoint between the loudspeakers and the listening position.

• Behind us, on the left and right sides.

What if other acoustic panels, but not printed acoustic panels, are designed in an acoustic plan?

In this case, the panels will absorb a larger number of high frequencies compared to diffuser faceplate panels or membrane acoustic panels. You’ll need to decide which aspect to prioritize: the evenness of the sound or the design.

If you need to convince your wife, the printed acoustic panels will be the winner. You can choose an abstract style or a classic art set as a gift or even display it in your home.
