What is the purpose of diffusers?

We don’t just need bass sound absorbers to achieve proper acoustics. If we over-attenuate the sounds, we degrade the enjoyment of the audio material. Diffusers scatter the sounds coming to their surface. Breaking down the energy of sound into smaller parts, the sounds are radiated back into a larger space. Their surface, designed with mathematical precision, is irregular, with different depths, as a result of which theycano scatter sounds over the entire bandwidth, creating a feeling and sound as if they increase the space. We get clean, balanced acoustics. However, high tones do not harm.

 

Preparation:

We will produce the products in any size and quantity within 1-2 weeks after receiving the orders.

Wrapping:

Our products are packed in dedicated, sturdy cardboard boxes. Inside, multi-layer foil is used to protect the integrity of the products during transport.

Transport:

Our products are delivered by DHL courier. In Hungary, we use the 24-hour delivery service.

Placement of Diffusers and Ideal Quantity:

The ideal number of diffusers depends on the size of the room or studio. For larger spaces, we recommend using multiple diffusers. They also perform effectively as near-field diffusers. It’s important to position the diffusers at the reflection points! Acoustic measurements can be used to identify the exact locations of these points. Why Proper Material Use is Important in Creating Diffusers?

The material structure of styrofoam or plastic sponges cannot absorb or scatter sound evenly. While high-frequency sounds are relatively easy to manage, any simple home décor or decorative element can handle those. However, these homemade, inexpensive, yet completely unsuitable materials are not ideal for effective sound diffusion.

Our diffusers are made from real wood. Due to the natural properties and structure of the wood (such as knots, lumps, and staining from leaking resin), the pickling or painting may not be even, and the shades may vary across the surface of the diffuser. As such, we cannot accept complaints regarding these natural variations.
